Corey Patterson (when he was good)

That's exactly what I was thinking:

*Very good defensive projection (Pie with the better throwing).

*Very good speed.

*Seems like he needs to refine his base-stealing.

*Left handed, long swing (unfortunate as a quicker, shorter swing would utilize his speed as he would hit more ground balls/line drives).

*Lots of hype.

Offensively, I could see him being a Jacque Jones type guy, but with more steals. Better defender, though.

I don't think that's his ceiling, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's where he ends up.

Carl Everett!

seriously?

my guess if it was someone who had played for the Cubs recently would be Cliff Floyd, which for several years would be nice

I don't know that Felix could lead the league in screaming line drive foul balls like Cliff though....

one half of 2003?

And August 2004 Corey Patterson. I don't feel like looking up the exact numbers, but I remember he hit everything headed his direction.
