THERES NO WAY THAT OHIO STATE AND ILLINOIS IS A GOOD GAME.

If you use the same (erroneous) logic that you have used the entire season the Illinois OSU game is by far a mismatch.

C'mon

Nebraska at (8) Kansas (12:30 pm)

NOT a mismatch

C'mon.

Meph has been spot on on all his other predictions for mismatch or not, though.

Just like how he said that the Michigan-Illinois game would be a blowout too, right? Whoops.

Illinois probably won't win, but they'll keep it within 10-14 points.

Hart was out and when I said that I thought Hart would be fine. I think I said it on a Monday or something. Since you want to frame me again, I'll oblige.

I don't want to frame anybody. Just pointing out what you said, that's all.

New Way to split games

If I see something with <= 10, then that's a good game. If I see 10-20, so so game and 20+ is a blow out. Bolded games are in the wrong section. We'll compare these predictions on Sunday of next week. Be prepared.

Louisiana Tech vs. LSU

Not a mismatch. Tech is much improved this year. They almost beat Hawai'i.

It's possible that the whole good game-mismatch debate is slightly out of hand. I kept that format because Derwood did it that way.

(And I picked Ill-OSU as a good game because, as some pointed out, there's really not much evidence to suggest OSU is some machine of a team and Illinois handled Wisconsin, who hung with Ohio State.)

Dont think anything of it, look whos doing the complaining, hes going to complain over something no matter what. Makes him look smarter than all of us

I think UCLA will give ASU a really good game. I am afraid the Bruins might win and that will help Dorrell's chances of returning next season.

LT also lost 42-12 to Cal and LSU would probably beat Cal by at least a touchdown. LT also lost 21-0 to Ole Miss, which will probably get crushed by LSU something like 41-7.

Hawai'i isn't LSU. LSU likely beats Hawai'i by 20.

You can't convince me Vance. Hawai'i is undefeated. LSU is not.

This should be fun/probably embarrassing.

A little inside look at the pre-game atmosphere prior to the Minny game for you Illini fans. I specifically LOVE this quote from Zook.

At the most moving moment of the pre-game, with a team full of hungry players already chomping at the bit, through a bit of a quivering bottom lip, he said boldly: "I don't know a lot about how it all played out. But I know this -- I'm glad it did. Because I wouldn't trade coaching this team, coaching all of you, for any team in America. And you can believe that."

I think we hang with OSU throughout much of the game, then they pull away late. So basically SOP for the Buckeyes.

I'm really happy that we're looking at an 8-4(5-3) season in all likelihood, but it is frustrating knowing that all 3 of our losses thus far were winnable games.

That and ya just know Mendenhall is gone after this season which sucks.

I hope he means it, I want him at U of I for a long time, but its going to be hard to pass up more prestigious jobs sooner or later.

Agreed. I really really wish Mendehall would stay, but he would be dumb too. He will probably be the 2nd or 3rd back taken.

I really don't know about that based on both sides of the coin. The big name programs(looking in your direction Nebraska) have seen how things worked out for Zook at a big name school. Meyer won with Zook's team last year, but if you look at it superficially just at the records, I'm guessing Zook at UF doesn't come out much better than Callahan at Nebraska. Also, Zook saw how things worked out at a big name school, constantly under the microscope, BCS or you're fired. I think it works best for both sides(The big schools and Zook) that he stays put.

I agree to a point, but money talks more often than not. I cant remember how much Zook is making at U of I, but Im sure its not top notch.

Haven't seen most of these teams play, so essentially, I'm winging it.

Might as well flip a coin with this game though in terms of which UCLA team actually shows up. I could definitely see them winning this game since it's at home but I could see them laying a complete egg and getting blown out.

haveen't seen illinois play yet, but is mendenhall that good? this looks to be a very eep draft year for backs.

Speed power he has everything you could want in a running back. He can catch out of the backfield, he can run around guys, or he can run them over. After Mcfadden, I think its a toss up for the 2nd best NFL prospect. Ive heard Mendenhall compared to LT, obviously Im not saying hes as good as LT, but the comparisons have been made. Hes the real deal
