I don't quite understand the seemingly rushed negotations. I don't see any reason why Fukudome should feel the need to sign any deal right away considering they just now started fielding offers.

Maybe its like the Scott Eyre negotiations where Hendry just blew him away on the first offer and he took it.

Most reports I've heard/read its the Cubs or KC. Seems like a no brainer but if this KC coach has that much pull then I guess the Cubs will keep looking.

I am sure it's somewhere in the 30+ pages here but does anybody know or have the numbers for Kosuke against LHP? I know he is a good hitter I just wondered what the dropoff was from RHP to LHP.
