I watched the 91/92/93/96 championship documentaries off the new bulls dvd set I got. It was fantastic. Is that Michael Jordan character still around? he was pretty good.

He has not made 1 single strategic trade to improve this club. He is content with an average team that will make the playoffs every year, but never really contend for anything.

Ok, the Deng trade was good I'll give him that....but we could have had Randolph for the Noah pick and probably Noc. But again, we are a jump shooting dependent team with nothing inside.

And yea, the Bulls really aren't going to do anything with the 'core' they have now. The sooner they trade one (or more) of their big 3 for a real superstar, the better.

Well, looking at it, he did have a career high PER last season after declining every year since his rookie year.

 

I mostly hate how he does nothing outside of points and rebounds, plays no defense and absolutely stalls your offense completely.

I really wanted Aldridge over TT too, but Tyrus is looking good tonight..hell he is the only one playing with a pulse. I think the big mistake will be holding on to the 07 pick(Noah) and not using it for an post scorer. Even when Noah is healthy I don't think he gets playing time over Aaron Gray..who both Skiles and Paxon have fallen in love with becuase of his slowness and whiteness.

I'm with IMB! on Randolph.

 

Randolph was traded for Channing Fyre and a 2nd round pick. Francis is irrevlevant as his contract was bought out. In fact we probably could have had Randolph for the pick + some garbage as Portland would have used that pick on a player that is actually talented..not Noah.

It is so incredibly nice to see Derek Fisher back in a Lakers uniform. He never should have been allowed to leave in the first place. Just another thing that Mitch Kupchak has butchered in his tenure with the team.

For a team that was supposed to finish 12th or lower in the Eastern Conference, I've been pleasantly surprised by the Pacers start. Their competition hasn't been the best (Washington and Miami without Wade) but that's not the worst competition you can have either. They've played really hard, and their running offense is the such a contrast from the Carlisle walk it up the floor and call a play offense. Two close wins is nice to see, even though there probably will be tough times ahead.
