Hopefully Sutton can repeat last year's performance against Iowa. Northwestern needs this win to get to 6-4 and set themselves up where they can win a 7th game against either Indiana or at Illinois. The three games the rest of the season are winnable, but they won't be easy. And there's an outside chance seven wins may not even be enough for a Big Ten tie-in bowl and a much, much greater chance that six won't get them anywhere. Edited by Jon

I'm pretty surprised to see Tennessee back in the top 25 after looking so bad against South Carolina. Oh well, I'll take it.

And it's nice to be back in control of the East for now, though. :D Can't get complacent, though, as we still have to get past Arkansas, Vandy and Kentucky. And that game at UK really worries me. I'm afraid Woodson will make our young secondary look sillier than they already do.

NOT a mismatch

A team with a losing record against an unbeaten team, to me, is always a mismatch. But I'll move it if more people agree with you.

I have to agree with Meph. Nebraska isn't that good, but Kansas also isn't nearly as good as their rating right now.

I agree also. Of course this just about guarantees that Kansas wins 38-9

haters.

Hey, your SOS will probably crack the top 100 whether you squeak by or annihilate the Huskers, so you've got that going for you.

We've played 3 of the last 4 on the road in difficult venues. The SOS thing is losing its merit.

Sagarin thinks wer're a bit underrated.

Honestly, though, I'm jusy enjoying the ride right now. We're still a lot better than people give us credit for, but we'll lose eventually. I think we'll rush the ball down Nebs throat, but they have a very talented team, and a loss is certainly possible.

I think Nebraska taking Texas to the limit in Austin is probably indication enough that they're not going to be overwhelmed in Lawrence.

Of course the counterargument is the 41-6, 45-14, and 36-14 shellackings they suffered at the hands of Missouri, Oklahoma State, and Texas A&M (the last two at home) the three weeks prior say that they will be overwhelmed in Lawrence.

U of I, please start Mcgee, Juice Williams is not a QB.

Its tough. McGee definitely needs some more time to become a polished, efficient QB, yet Juice is showing week in and week out he simply cannot throw the football.

Either way, 8 wins to finish this season would be awesome.

Screw this, go Arizona. I want Dorrell the hell away from UCLA.

God, I hope ND beats Navy. They really should be able to - they have the better athletes and Navy's defense is so colossally bad that the Irish might manage 20 points on them.

As for Ball State, frankly at this point there's no excuse not to beat IU. The Cardinals have already done well - and should have won - against two teams as good or better than the Hoosiers (Nebraska and Illinois) and it's about damn time we win one of these games against big conference teams. I want a win, especially since I'll be in Bloomington.

I'm sorry Andy but you shouldn't have beaten Illinois. You can't just take the problems Ball St. had, say they should've been done the other way and automatically say it should've been a win. Illinois had a lot more shouldas than BSU. I don't think you beat IU either, though I haven't seen them play in a few weeks, it's possible they've regressed.

I watched the Pitt/Navy game about a month ago. Navy almost won. I dont think that ND is much better than Pitt.

ND beat UCLA, I don't think Navy is better than UCLA. This also means nothing.
