Which reminds me, it came out back in February, but I'm not sure how much it's known nationally - Notre Dame will be wearing throwback green jerseys tomorrow to honor the 30th anniversary of the original green jersey game/1977 national title team.

I think it's a stupid idea (and an obvious marketing ploy for Adidas), but the jerseys should look fairly cool I guess.

Why are the Packers going to play USC this weekend?

Maybe because Notre Dame wants to be like a winning team. I'm sorry, that was bad.

I do like the newer green jerseys that ND uses.

when was the last w in green?

I think they wore green against Navy last year. I could be wrong though.

They wore them against Army.

This Northwestern-EMU game is pretty bad. ESPNU has the worst announcers imaginable, the crowd is as dead as a crowd can be, and Northwestern is once again playing down to an inferior opponent.

Worst announcers imaginable is one way to put it. I'm yearning for a game called by Mike Tomczak. These guys are by far the worst team I've ever heard in any sport on any level. Messing up our coach's name twice was probably their high point of the broadcast.

But there would have to be a crowd in order for it to be dead. There can't be more than 2,000-3,000 people in the stands.

NU looks like crap tonight. Hopefully we can escape with a win and never speak of this game again.

Yay Cowan is starting tomorrow. Hopefully no more walk-on redshirt freshmen EVER.

is it all but decided that the preseason #1 next year is florida

sorry i need to tell myself how good they are after their recent lull

It'll probably be USC again. I'd say it's pretty well guaranteed that Florida will be in the top 3 though.

Join.

The defense could/should be absolutely sick by next year.

that rutgers over usf pick was the easiest "upset of the #2 team in the country" pick ever

I've been saying that S. Florida was overrated for a few weeks now. They beat an Auburn team that was severely struggling at the QB, OL, and RB positions earlier this year, and they beat a West Virinia team that was also a bit overrated and without a healthy starting QB.

So just Big East teams are overrated? We'll see how over rated they are when they play one of the great teams of the SEC today. Let's not forget that Louisville had Kentucky beat at Kentucky until the last minute but I'm sure that was because they were so much better. Sorry, sometimes I forget how the SEC mind works.

Apparently the officials at the UConn/UL game were right. The rules say that in order to call a fair catch you have to waive your hand in the air back and forth more than once, something the punt returner didn't do.

Vandy beating South Carolina right now 17-3 in the 2nd.

I think we could have a 16 team tournament this season and no one would have any clue to who would win the National Championship.

Mississippi State is far from a "great" SEC team. They're one of the worst in the SEC. There's no reason why West Virginia - if they're one of the best in the Big East - shouldn't blow the Bulldogs out.

Go Vandy and Roll Tide.

Good to see ESPN make an appear. in Lexington that was not at Memorial stad. or Rupp.

Figured they might've ended up going past Lexington into Knoxville down 75.
