I don't know about LSU. Georgia should be unranked after today though, they really should have lost that game. The stupid celebration afterwards only adds to my feeling that they don't deserve crap. Good for the coach breaking it up and apologizing to Vandy.

You don't know if LSU should be ranked, or where they should be ranked?

I don't know how far they should fall.

Both the hosts, whoever they are, on ESPN Radio right now are both arguing that LSU should drop as far as USC because a "loss is a loss". The host said "it don't matter about who you playing, it's a loss." What a bunch of garbage. I'm LEAPS AND BOUNDS far away from being an LSU homer, but losing to a 44 point underdog AT your own house is very very different from losing to the 17th ranked team in the country at THEIR house. Whatever. Edited by OleMissCub

Ball State dispatched Western Kentucky 35-12, outscoring the Hilltoppers 21-0 in the 2nd half.
I was at the game (in the end zone below the scoreboard). I thought the looked quite good except for the sloppy turnoverfest in the 2nd quarter. I didn't realize Davis is only a sophomore; it will be interesting to see how good he eventually becomes.

I didn't realize Mark O'Connell is now Morry Mannies' broadcast partner. He shared the starting quarterback job (with Dave Wilson) in 1978, when I was a freshman. They were 10-1 that year and undefeated in the conference. The MAC didn't have a bowl tie-in then and their one loss, to Louisiana Tech, probably cost them a bid. They did get some votes for the rankings (which back then was only the top 20).

Michigan State with a huge fumble at the very end of the 3rd returned 76 yards by Indiana to put them back within 3 possessions.

Yeah, I was on the sidelines (as I always am - host the pregame and halftime for the student radio station's coverage), and it was ugly in the 2nd quarter, but WKU didn't score in any other quarter, and it was pretty impressive that BSU was able to dominate the game with no running attack.

Now the tough part - a three game road trip to Kalamazoo, Champaign and Bloomington. I'd be happy with one win out of the three. Two would be incredible.

Speaking of the MAC, Buffalo and Temple now both have two-game winning streaks, and the Bulls are in the driver's seat to win the MAC East division. I expect the world to open up and locusts to descend from the sky any minute now.

Pugh (Auburn freshman lineman) looks like he migth have broken a leg or torn up his knee. Hate to see that. :/

Wow, Mizzou fans must have gone crazy at that touchdown fumble return.

Oregon State 28, #2 Cal 21. 8:30 left.

plus usc barely beat arizona. i guess we can definitely say that the pac 10 sucks.

At this point, I'm perfectly comfortable saying every team in the country sucks, to be honest.

And Cal fumbles the kickoff back to OSU, who adds another FG. 31-21, with 6 minutes to go.

And Cincy's losing too.

Well, that was disappointing. You can't win in Norman and commit 4 turnovers.

You guys vs. Tech next week could be a fun game. I suppose you slavers losing consecutive games might be to much to ask.

Andre Woodson is the best QB in college football bar none. In fact he is probably the best college QB since Carson Palmer.

Though he may be the best, numerically there are a couple awful close. Woodson has a 65.2 completion percentage with 7.42 yards per attempt and an 18:2 TD:INT ratio.

Erik Ainge has a 67.6 completion %, 7 yards per attempt and a 10:2 ratio.

Brian Brohm is at 66.8%, 9.32 ( ) YPA, and a 20:4 ratio.

I like the fact that two of the three top QBs in the nation (with the possible exception of Brennan depending on how you feel about him) are in the SEC.

I think Woodson will be the 1st QB drafted. Of course, before the season started I did say that Woodson would be a top 10 pick. :)
