You know, if Illinois can manage to pull out a win today, there's a decent chance Gameday goes to Champaign next week. That just seems...wrong.

Hawaii is pretty bad.

i guess we'll find out how bad they are when they play in a bcs bowl later this season

I don't think you will. I am looking at a couple of the computer rankings right now. While it's still early for the computers and they'll have to shake out a little bit once they get more data (which is the biggest reason they don't release the BCS standings in September because the computers have some wacky stuff the first few weeks) here are the rankings currently for Hawaii in the 4 computers who have released their rankings for this year:

34, 54, 30, 32.

It's still early, but it's going to be a long road for Hawaii to be able to climb into the top 12 of the BCS.

In the polls, they are 16th, but once they start getting in the top 15 they really won't rise much higher unless they destroy Washington the final week of the year and everyone else loses.

Now-if a BCS automatically qualified team is lower than 16th in the rankings and Hawaii is able to get in by just being in the top 16 of the BCS, I believe they get in.

Does Juice have any touch whatsoever? I don't watch Illinois very often, and it seems like every pass he throws he just fires the ball as hard as he can.

No, no he doesn't. Illinois would be really good if their QB could pass at all.

Ha, it would be nice to have an actual kicker. These two Iowa drives have been typical of what they've done all season.

Nebraska is getting humiliated again. 24-0 to OK State in Lincoln, and they're less than 5 minutes into the 2nd quarter.

EDIT: 31-0 now, wow.

EDIT2: 38-0, OSU is on pace for over 700 yards.

God I hate Nebraska. Why couldn't they bounce back and just destroy OSU? Oh well, that pretty much eliminates them from the North race.

It's so typical, isn't it?

Just when you think the Illini are looking good, they go to a lesser team's house and lay a big egg.

They're going to lose this game. Wow. I think Iowa's strength is defending the run and option, Mr. Zook. Might be time to go to McGee and try to throw the ball a little bit. But hey, that's just me.
