No you can't. That's the point. Kerry's been the one constant the past decade. He's been loyal to the Cubs, has always taken responsibilty for himself and has been slagged for no reason by many people. There's no reason not to love Kerry.

Others have responded, but I'll just repeat, no, you can't say that about a lot of other guys. Sammy was, but he hasn't been a Cub in a longtime and the breakup was so ugly it affected everything about how fans feel about him. Wood is still here, and the Cubs are in 1st. If they make the playoffs, that would be 3 Chicago Cubs playoff teams in 10 years and one guy who has been a part of all of them. And he was a huge part of the first 2.
