If you want to give Pie a start, tonight is the night. Jones is 4/28 against Arroyo.

 

Unfortunately, Soriano is 4/27 and Lee is 4/18.

 

Floyd is 5/15 with a double and a home run, so he'll be the starter in right field.

 

Ramirez, Theriot, and DeRosa have all been solid against Arroyo.

 

Kendall is 1/9 against Arroyo lifetime. It's a good time to give Soto another start.

The Reds have been a pesky, scrappy, pain in the ass team for as long as I can remember following the Cubs, and I hate them for it. I think 1 of 3 is a real possibility here just because they love to beat us. Praying for 2 out of 3 and that Carlos and Lilly don't suck on 3 days' rest. Please win Cobs.

 

That said, Rich Hill usually gets little or no run support and I don't expect that to change against Arroyo. :(

In my opinion, this series is more important than the Cardinals series. We all knew that we could beat the cardinals; regardless of the fact that they're a better team than the Reds. But this series can do one of two things; it can either be a season-ender like 2004 or it can prove that we are going to play like the team we are and actually win this thing.
