Your projected starters for the Cubs are wrong, I believe. With the days off on the 20th and 24th, my understanding is that they're going as I've corrected it above. They haven't named a starter for the 27th, but it's probably going to be Trachsel or Marshall.

 

Could the oppositions' starters be altered due to off days as well?

With the remaining opponents all out of the playoff race, it's unlikely they'd mess with their 5 man rotations unless it was to get a couple starts for a prospect while shutting down someone with a history of injuries.

The last week for day games at Wrigley, and they waste the first game on a night game. I really hope there are a few more day games before the roadtrip (and playoffs ) begin. Class is getting pretty brutal these days and the reprieve would be beyond welcome.

It really upsets me that Milwaukee gets to miss Oswalt (whose wife is having a baby this week, otherwise he would pitch) and Peavy in their series coming up. Not fair.

I wasn't trying to be sarcastic or anything. Its just that when most people hear "Willis" they still think Cy Young caliber pitcher. He's nothing to dread this year.
