Warning Track Power

Not watching today - but with the wind blowing in at about 15 mph, wouldn't that mean it'd have been gone on a normal day?

the wind looks more left to right than straight in. he didn't really hit it well - he was late on two straight pitches and lifted them to right. good contact but not really driven.

Sure hope DLee and ARam were taking notes... good things can happen if apply a bit of hustle on the basepaths.

either of them would have been out by five feet. they would be more likely to get hurt than get a hit there.

Its beyond obvious that DLee/ARam wouldn't have beaten a play like that out, but as recent examples, that single of DLee's that landed right by the OOB padding in RF last night... most likely should have been a 2B.

But again... I didn't bring it up to cause thread-consuming debate/argument.

DLee didn't run that ball out last night because it was foul.

At least, I thought it was.

It's blowing sorta left to right and out to RF

Ugh.

Well at least we worked Sheets a little that inning.

He's thrown 21 pitches.

Almost all of them fastballs. Is he saving his breaking pitches, or is his finger preventing him from throwing a lot of them?

I didn't see last night's game. I wonder if Derrek has a nagging leg injury?

The way ryan braun looks pisses me off. I know thats completely irrational, but he looks so cocky without even trying. Stupid braun.

I guess I grew up differently... I was always taught to go hard - or at least as hard as my body/injuries would allow - until the ump told me otherwise.

I hope Zambrano can keep this up for six or seven more innings.

I don't think it has anything to do with how he was raised.

You do know Rammy isn't healthy, right?

Well, maybe cocky isnt the right word. Prince Fielder is cocky, and I respect the guy for some reason, he just really wants to win. Braun strikes me as the condescending type, and thats probably a better adjective to describe him with. And he has beady, beady eyes.

I doubt you ever played 162 games in a year.

The ARam thing is the worst. He's got knee problems, he's got quad problems. I cringe when he hustles.
