Tuesday's game will brought to you by the letter Z:

Zambrano (14-8, 3.69)

He'll face the Reds' Aaron Harang (11-3, 3.37)

It's Ace vs. Ace as the Cubs try and show that the early season was a fluke, rather than the the months of June and July.

GO cubs!!!

(in my first ever game thread)!!!

off day after a loss suck

also, off days suck

also losses

Actually this might be the 1st offday that Im glad they arent playing. The last 2 weeks or so has irritated the hell out of me, and I think the team, along with alot of their fans, can really use this off day.

Tomorrow's game will be my first time at Wrigley Field in over three years. It better not get rained out, because I have to leave to go back to school on Friday.

Winning is great fun, Cubs. Try it, you might like it!!

Seriously though, team... win the next 3 series (vs Reds/vs StL/and @ SF); or else. :-#

And seeing as I'll be on vacation for all the following 3 series (@ ARI/vs MIL/and vs HOU), winning those as well would be really neat; especially considering that the middle one is vs your most likely competition for the NL Central crown, the Brewers(!!!); not to mention its the last 3 games you play between yourselves for the rest of the regular season.

Wouldn't it be nice, Cubs, to be playing well and winning, plus have the NL Central lead, when AS returns (+ September callups)?? Happy thoughts!!

Yup, I'll be in Europe for that last Astros series that you listed. I'd like to be either up in the standings or completely out of it so I don't have to waste my trip thinking about the Cubs and being unable to follow them.

Get MLB.tv :) Depending on where you're going in Europe it's perfect. For me I get home from the bars around 3am and the games start at 3am for me so it's perfect. If you're going to the UK they will likely start at midnight to 1am.

Wow, Murton has taken Haraang long twice in his short career.

Gotta start Murton.

I don't think anyone would have thought you would say that :P
