Screw it Lou, go with an all-RH bullpen.

Its really not that bad of an idea.

Or maybe guys that can get people out on both sides of the plate.

I really don't care which arm the relievers throw with as long as they can get both lefties and righties out.

Well, at least we made a nice comeback in the game. Chalk this loss up to Marshall and Ohman. And at least we didn't lose any ground in the division.

Real quality ab there.

Did he even swing? Those were all close.

nope , the last one was a ball. Jones is just killing this team.

Pie has got to be watching this pud try to play CF and wonder whose fanny he has to kiss to get in the major league lineup.

Ding Ding Ding.

I can't stand the LOOGY. Waste of a roster spot IMO. Just bring in guys who can get people out. Who cares what arm they throw with.

Eyre and Ohman??? what about Jones the worst CF since............

Corey Patterson?

At least Patterson could field and run.

Corey Patterson dreams of having the career JJ has had.

I doubt it, he should, but I doubt he does.

Oh well, all in all I'll take a split with Philly and gaining a game on Milwaukee in the process.

Finish up this homestand strong by taking 2 of 3 from the Mets.

think how much better our team would be if we just got Soto and Pie up here. Luckily we aren't in a situation where every game counts.

Pie some people don't think are ready (i don't think he is, but jones is so bad that it doesn't matter). But there's literally nobody on this board who thinks Soto shouldn't be with the big club and playing a significant number of games.

But...but.... the PERCENTAGES!!

You guys and your sacred cows and your designated villians are hilarious. JJ went 2-5 today. Ohman was brutal, but if anyone deserves to be ranted and railed against for today's performance it should be Marshall by a landslide. The starting pitching, sans Zambrano, has been uninspiring as of late.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled Jacque bashing.

Marshall has to be the goat. The bullpen despite the runs at the end has been fantastic these last few games. We really need Z to pitch some big innings tomorrow.

I like the effort in trying to comeback. We fell short, but the effort was there.

I agree about the bullpen. Lou (and Marshall :x) asked quite a bit of them today, and they came through pretty well until the ninth, though it's not like that ninth inning lineup was going to do anything anyway. Given the circumstances, they did fine. Even Eyre showed up bigtime today.
