Thats because Kendall leaned into it, and our announcers aren't huge homers like the Sox ones.

Yeah he used up his two hits for the week yesterday.

 

As long as Kendall continues to get on base I'm not going to complain. At least he turned the order over.

 

But there was a runner on third and he was realistically the best chance to drive him home. Even as bad as he is, hes still much more likely to get the runner home than Rich Hill.

 

If he had made an out we would have been complaining about how bad he is as a hitter. Its a vicious circle.

the pitch count will not be his friend. hopefully we can light up arroyo, allowing our bullpen a decent margin of error, since they may need to pitch 4+ innings today.

 

rich still has time to straighten that out, though.... a couple 10-pitch innings would do wonders.
