Marmol has been pretty bad as of late. Hasn't given up tons of runs, but hes been allowing a ton of baserunners and has been getting behind all of his hitters.

 

He looks like hes throwing too hard and the ball is just going all crazy, kinda like what Zambrano does.

It isn't really true that the wins were smoke and mirrors. They won quite a few one run games, but even at the height of the cold streak, they were below the expected record. They really have been a solid team, but maybe not quite enough.

Yeah, I don't really understand the thought of why we need another starter, considering the crap that's being floated around out there.

When is the last time the Cubs get out an attempted base stealer? Not on a pickoff or a pitchout, but an actual stolen base attempt.

 

I'm sure its happened, but I don't remember it happening at all this year.
