I have to imagine it is hard to be upset at a 7-3 home stand, but I am.

 

Look at it this way, if the Cubs started out with two losses like these and ended with two wins like they started with, you'd be much happier at this moment.

 

But they didn't so it sucks. The Cubs look to be slumping now, and heading on the road to face the hated Cardinals. Their pitching staff sucks, but as evidenced by the Cubs record against hte Cardinals last year, when they get together, you throw the records out.

 

Someone needs to put Kip Wells record in reverse in the Cubs clubhouse and convince them that he's contending for the Cy Young.

haha, ball one to aram was about the same pitch that was strike 3 to Fontenot just on the other side of the plate
