I thought a lot about Bonds, but ended up going with Prince.

 

Same. But I'm biased because I hate bonds and love the prince.

I really don't love Prince. But it came down to fathead vs fatass, and I went with the fatass.

I went with Utley, though I'm kinda biased since he's a Bruin.

I had to go with Hanley. He's hitting just about as well as anybody in the league, stealing bases at a decent clip, staying healthy, and playing solid defense at a position on the far left of the fielding spectrum... where that bat looks even more amazing.

not that this has anything to do with the first half MVP, but Ryan Howard has .400/.528/.925/1.453 line since the ASB, and is now #2 in the NL in homers and #1 in RBI. He's also #3 in RC/G and #5 in EqA. If he has another monstrous second half and the Phils remain relevant in the NL playoff picture, he could be a back-to-back MVP.
