The only thing that I would have liked to seen otherwise was what happened when they finally explained it and realized what happened. I wish the tape would have continued to show that, because it would have been really funny to see their change in attitude from the end of the previous half inning.

After they realized what had been called Hawk was complaing that Rapuano didnt make the 'dead ball' call immediately. So he began to refocus his ire on him for an inning. "There gonna sit down and talk to Rapuano about this one".

The production of CSN was a load of crap to WGN (i watched the CSN on mlb.tv later, while watching the game live on WGN). In the bottom of the 8th inning the best CSN had of the video was from a first base dugout came where you can see Pagan slammin into Uribe. It was a very poor shot, they had one of those 'spotlights' on Pagan and the thing was all over the place. It was high school audio/visualesque.

Thats BS! :D

Actually, their attitudes didn't change that much. Instead of saying they were wrong and the umps were right, Hawk when on a tirade about how Ed Rapuano should've immediately called the play dead at the time of the obstruction. He harped about this over and over. He even mention the supervisory ump (Garcia?) sending a note to the press box stating the play should of been called dead at the time of the obstruction. Again wrong!

Hey Hawk - Strike Two!!!!!

If Harrelson's as big an egocentric jerk as I've heard, I wouldn't be shocked if CSN didn't show the replay cause they didn't want to make him look like an ass by being so wrong.

Of course, instead he made himself look like an ass anyways.

That wasn't even my favorite Hawk moment of the series. I liked the call Saturday when the Ump called a strike that caught the edge of the plate and Hawk said "Wow, why not keep throwing that if they're going to call it 8 INCHES off the plate?"

Anyone else now unable to stop saying "DADGUM RIGHT!!!"?

I can't help myself

vvvv Yea, I couldn't help myself either.

If you tune into the Score, you can hear the moronic white sox fans ranting about the play.

It could be worse, they could be busy beating their wives.

Dag gum I can't beleive how stupid they both are talking about how the umps missed something. When them dag gum losers didn't even see the friggen collision at 2nd base. HAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

yea my friend works in the marketing dept. for teh sox and told me during the first crosstown series this year that they get more people write in that they hate hawk compared to any other topic...so isnt liked on either side except for by the dumb sox fans who use his phrases in everyday life, which is enough for me to want to kill them

by the way...i like how DJ wants instant replay, when he is the one with it and missed it and the umps got it right in real time...MORONS

I'll add this mini rant to the thread, but this whole weekend I was just disgusted at the Score 670. It was nothing but a Sox whine fast the entire time. God forbit they praise 1 single damn thing about the North Side team and their solid play. I understand they are a "Sox" station, but they are also a Chicago station and they were a Chicago station before they even started covering Sox games.

The worst was Friday with their non-stop bitching after the game. Not once did the idiot host or moron Sox fans stop and think for a second that they simply got beat by a dominant Zambrano. And also how about some credit to Soriano who is simply on fire right now. Without the pitching of Z and the bat of Sori, this is a very different series. The Sox didn't lose this series, the Cubs won it with their star players.

That's the only explanation I can think of. By the time the CSN team realized it was interference, Hawk and DJ were already so deep in their tirade that they had to choose to not drop the bomb on them.

This is an amazing video.

Major props to IMB!

"This'll be one protest that will be upheld!"

"It has to be!!!"

Flabbergast at its finest.

I sometimes feel sorry for Jackson, cause I think often he's stuck parroting whatever Harrelson says even when he doesn't really believe it. The few times you'll hear him disagree Harrelson will shoot him down in his obnoxious style.

Yeah, DJ really isn't as bad as he seems to be when paired with Hawk. He was alright when he did the Barrett/AJP game on Fox last year.
