A-Ram with a knee sprain, according to Pat. For those watching the game, how bad was the tweak? (Glad to hear it's not his hammy or groin)

 

Maybe it's the cynic in me, but when I hear "knee sprain" I think "torn ACL".

 

Judging by his reaction and that he didn't immediately leave, I doubt anything is "torn."

 

I've had that exact same thing happen to me before running the bases (my knees suck). It was swollen for a day but i was back after only missing that Saturday game.

So does anyone know anything about sprained knees? How long should we expect Aramis to sit?

 

I've had more knee problems than I can count. Just using ice and painkillers, I used to be able to play football again the day after a sprain. I did miss a grand total of two days with a very severe sprain once, though.

While trying to beat out a play at first, he over extended and came up gimpy. He stayed in the game, but when running to second looked like he was running on it gingerly.

 

He then did not re-enter to play defense in the next half inning.
