Did Pie hurt his hand?

 

No?

 

Looked like he jammed his thumb on his stolen base.

Damn, I hope he is ok.

 

he was playing outfield afterwards... i'm sure he'll be fine. or out for the year, since it's the cubs.

The Brewers are the cure for what ails the Cubs!

 

For those keeping score, the Cubs are still the only team in the division that has won a series (2) against MIL. IMO, the Cubs are better than the Brewers they just need to be consistent and start winning more consecutive series.

that was actually a fun game to watch for the most part. Zambrano being Zambrano and Pie being awesome.

So did Zambrano throw 98?

 

He hit 96, I believe.

 

I saw 97 on at least one pitch, but I never noticed him getting up to 98.

They showed the velocity sometimes. It seemed like it was completely random on whether or not they would show it.

Yeah, I saw it in like the 6th inning on WGN. As mentioned, WGN's radar was broken at the beginning of the game, but they had it fixed by then.
