With the Cubs bullpen now coming into play, just curious, any chance for rain in Mlwaukee and that someone could puncture a large hole in the Miller Park roof?

 

Could be the Cubs only chance.

 

It is supposed to rain this afternoon, but it would probably take quite a bit to puncture a hole in the roof. :lol:

 

I assume they've fixed it, but the roof didn't do a good job of keeping rain out in the past.

Actually, I just got an e-mail 5 mins ago offering me the job I was interviewing for. I'm extremely happy and I am going to get VERY drunk tonight.

A Murton sighthing. Quick, get the camera, this is like seeing Bigfoot!!

 

He's not going to get more playing time with ABs like that.

 

I have to think Floyd will pass Murton in at-bats again soon (Murton has more plate appearances on the season). Floyd is over 100 points in OPS now better than Murton. I could see an actual right/left platoon happening if this continues.

This is about as tough as it's gonna get. Braun-Fielder-Estrada. This won't be easy. If we can get through this without giving up a run, you have to feel good about Dempster's chances in the 9th.

For anyone that didn't see when I posed it in another thread, Howry really is a classy guy. He was out in the parking lot for a good half hour talking to fans and signing autographs despite the fact he was there with his family. He even had his kids fetch people's stuff for him to sign!

The Cubs should option Murton back to Iowa and bring up an infielder. Let the guy get some at-bats.
