So does anyone know anything about sprained knees? How long should we expect Aramis to sit?

I've had more knee problems than I can count. Just using ice and painkillers, I used to be able to play football again the day after a sprain. I did miss a grand total of two days with a very severe sprain once, though.

Baseball players don't tend to play through pain as well as football players though.

At the same time, they don't have to use their knees near so much as football players.

Aramis could probably play hobbled tomorrow and not exacerbate it. If he takes 1-2 days off, he'll be at 90-95%.

While trying to beat out a play at first, he over extended and came up gimpy. He stayed in the game, but when running to second looked like he was running on it gingerly.

He then did not re-enter to play defense in the next half inning.

Thank you

Definition: A knee sprain means that you have injured one of the ligaments around the knee joint. Grrrrrrreat!!!!!!

It's not a big deal until you hear "sprained ACL" or "sprained MCL."

Yes. I sprained my MCL last summer and it took about 4-6 weeks to get back to an adequate level of performance. Even then I wasn't 100%.

Nice catch by Soriano. Fielder scares the crap out of me when he comes to the plate.

He scares the crap out of the buffet table too.

if punching people gets these kind of performance (so far), let Z punch whoever he wants.

Please let it be Izturis.

If Z would punch Izturis everyday, it would make his crappy games much more bearable too.

I'm not watching. His numbers look good. Is Z on or are the Brewers hacking?
