In the bottom right corner of the MiLB.com main page, you can vote for Mark Holliman as the top pitcher in April. Holliman is the leading vote-getter right now with 92 more votes than second-place Tim Lincecum.

Which is crazy. Lincecum has been better and that is saying a lot, since Mark has been nails as well.

What happened to Veal and Shark being matched up on the same days?

Off days.

Curses...I won't be able to follow anyways but I just noticed that the Superhero Duo wasn't together anymore.

Daytona up 3-2 in the 4th. Samardzija had a rough 1st, but has done better since: 4 innings, 7 hits, 2 runs, 3 K's/0 BB's, 1 HR.

Peoria's offense is struggling tonight. Only 3 hits through 7 and the Chiefs are down 2-0. Carrillo had a good start going 5 innings and only allowing 2 hits, walked 2, and struck out 2.

Peoria is headed to extras after tying the game at 2 in the top of the 9th. DJ Lewis had an RBI single that scored Canzler and Yusuf had a sac fly that scored Castillo.

With the SP doing as badly as it is in Iowa, cant be long now until Holliman gets called up.

Would like to see the kid pitch for myself, but havent had the opportunity. I wonder if he has anything and where he is topping out speed wise with his 3 pitches.

Holliman's not getting called up anytime soon. This is his first real success as a professional, and most importantly he's not on the 40 man roster.

Can someone post the up-to-date stats so far on Fox and Colvin? With Pie in the bigs, these two are the position players I'm most interested in.

Unrelated--if the Cubs could trade Izturis, is there any reason Fontenot couldn't be a reserve infielder at the ML level? He seems to hit OK, and I think he can play both 2B and 3B, right?

Didn't Holliman pitch very well in Daytona last season, then hit a wall? Or am I confusing him with someone else?

He may have meant getting promoted to Iowa, not all the way to the Cubs. That doesn't require him being on the 40-man roster.

That's right, I overstated. He did nothing like he has this year though.
