Apparently, Len said Izturis would start in this game-makes sense in that he is 7 for 12 against Armas with 3 doubles, a triple, and a home run-I didn't know that there was any pitcher where Cesar had 5 XBH in 12 AB's.

Chicago Cubs Vs. Tony Armas Jr.

Lee looks great, as always. Looks like Cliff Floyd will get the start over Murton... Who didnt exactly look like Mr. Patience in Game 1. Cesar Izturis will ge the start, as many have said and speculated... And Soriano has a HR against him. *In Before Breakout Game Prediction*

Jose Bautista Vs. Ted Lilly

Yeah, he's the only one that's faced him.

Match-ups are on our side... again. I will be surprised if we let this one slip by.

We'll score 20 this game, but lose the series because we'll only score a run on Wednesday. Feast or Famine baby!!!

11 ERA? Yep, that pretty much ensures that we'll get shut out tomorrow.

Armas' numbers are only BARELY better than Eyre's. Every time a player swings at a first pitch, he should drop for 20 pushups on the spot. PLEASE don't choke cubs.

I'm a little more calm now. I'm not really asking for a sweep, or a 20 game win streak... which would be nice... but I really want to see consistent winning. If we can get out of a usual 3-game series with a better win percentage then we had coming into it, I'll be happy.

So, as 98nav. said before, if we win the next 2, we would have won 5 out of the last 6... Really big IF, though.

well the way lilly and marquis have pitched this year it isn't out of the question so hopefully they pitch like they have (knock on wood) and i mean seriously the next 8 games are against washington and pittsburgh so winning series shouldn't be out of the question....i just wish they had a day game tomm. cuz tonights loss has left a serious disgusting taste in my mouth

Well, the NBA playoffs are on tomorrow night. I could study for a lab exam in Geology. And then there's always the option of following the Cubs on Gameday.

Studying it is.

To torture or not to torture (myself by watching this game). That is the question.

don't bother. I think the Cubs win like 10-2, then lose by a run on Wednesday.

That's not even a bet worth taking, since I'm pretty sure you have to bet $100 to win $1 if that sequence happens.

You would study.

I have a feeling Paulina is gonna be another one of those classic "Cub Killers". IIRC, didn't have some big games vs. us last season?
