CHICAGO (AP) - 59 year old Craig Biggio moved one hit closer to 3,000 with a double to leftfield during the top of the fifth inning off of Chicago Cub starter Ted Lilly.

 

The 75-year old Biggio had this to say after the game.

 

"Having just celebrated my 87th birthday, this was a nice gift."

Man, at this pace the Cubs are going to be beaten by a 80 year old Woody Williams, and a 85 year old Craig Biggio.
