hey how about that, the adam dunn fanboys are predicting numbers much better than his career bests

He still is just about at that "prime year" (27-29 years old) stage of his career, so he could very well best his career bests.

He just doesn't have a swing thats compatible with a high average though...

70 Home runs though? Maybe.

Adam Dunn hasn't hit a homer in a while.

In fact he's been hurting my fantasy team pretty badly.

He's on pace for 38 homers. AND 38 steals! :D

Adam Dunn is simply giving Josh Hamilton a turn in the spotlight.

Don't hate on him because he's kind.

I'm starting to think Thom Brenneman hates Adam Dunn. Everytime Dunn gets 2 strikes, Brenneman makes it a point to tell the viewer how many strikeouts he has in how many AB's. After Dunn strikes out, Brenneman tells everyone how much of a problem his strikeouts are, in his snide, condescending voice.

yup. i traded for him halfway through the second week and he hasn't done a whole lot(though it was for berkman + pitching, and he isn't doing anything at all haha).

Incidentally I just picked up Josh Hamilton, so expect him to start sucking immediately.

I went with a cheap sabermetrician's dream outfield of Pat Burrell- Swisher-Dunn, and ended up HORRIBLY with all of them. (My infield and pitching is quite good)

I enjoy tracking his strikeouts because I want to see if he's going to break his own record. But, unlike Thom Brenneman, I actually understand how valuable Dunn is as a player.

And, for the record, Dunn is on pace to strike out 237 times this year.

Not picking Adam Dunn has caused me to be next to last in my money league in walks. He has been an annual pick for the past few years.

Who knew that Pujols and Jason Bay wouldn't be walking a ton though?

I would assume that you'll be just fine with those two when all is said and done.

Marty called for him to be benched yesterday.

Ridiculous. Even more absurd because the other day, Marty Brenneman was raving about how important it is to have a guy like Juan Castro on your team, and how Castro was a real baseball player.

Adam Dunn stolen base. 8-)

God damnit these managers have no idea how to run a baseball team. Why is he batting 6th? So his on base can get mostly wasted? [expletive].

The size of an actual german shepherd. Not the dog either. A german guy who herds sheep.
