can you imagine Adam Dunn in RF? lol

Idealy, I would have Dunn in LF. He is a free agent this offseason, no? If we can get rid of Jones and package Murton in some sort of deal then this would be a golden opportunity. I could care less about his defense, the guy rakes.

An outfield of Dunn, Pie, and Soriano next year would be 'eh' defensively, and pretty good offensively.

Dunn could be a FA, but there's a team option year on the contract. I haven't heard if the Reds plan on picking up the option. I've also heard the option is converted to a player option if he's traded which means the Reds won't pick it up in order to trade him.

If Soriano would move to RF, I'd love an OF of Dunn, Pie, Soriano.

Dunn needs to go the AL. He is horrendous in the field. There was article on ESPN where scouts were stating that he is even worse at first.

dunn's walk rate has dropped 4.2% from last year. he's still got an OPS of .938, but his line would look much better if it was sporting a .380+ OBP.

his SLG is also a bit inflated. any increase in walks is likely to cut into that as well, resulting in a wash with the OPS

dunn's sporting a big babip this year at .356. hopefully we'll see his walk rate go back to normal.

lol dunn calls griffey a fossil. thats awesome

I can't remember if I put it in this thread or not, but there was an interview a while back in which Dunn was asked about how his homers were typically tape measure shots and he said something like- "hey, if I hit one in the upper deck it counts just the same as when Junior hits his in the first row."
