I was ridiculed for paying 25 bucks for Dunn in our auction Saturday. I hope he hits 75 home runs and finds a cure for the common cold.

what and 60 homeruns with 200 RBI's?

I dont see him having a average above 300 with the amout he walks and strikes out. That will account for nearly 300+ at bats for the season

hey how about that, the adam dunn fanboys are predicting numbers much better than his career bests

Since this is his age 27 season, it wouldn't surprise me to see him reach career highs. He'll be entering his prime.

so after his OPS trend of 957/927/855 the past three years, you feel pretty good about him putting up a 1040 OPS this year.

whats the record for IsoP and IsoD?

I'd guess it'd be really hard to top Bonds' IsoP of .535 from 2001.... and I'd guess that Bonds' IsoD of .247 in 2004 is the all-time single season record in that stat.

i wouldn't include the second year since he was playing with a broken hand, but last year he was definitely unlucky.

Maybe... I just don't see how anyone in their right mind can forecast a batting average over .300 from a guy who strikes out nearly 200 times. It assumes either a big change in his ability to make contact, or a ridiculously high BABIP.

For what it's worth, the four of the most prominent forecasts (Bill James, Marcel, Chone, Zips) predict an OPS between 905 and 923.

How bout the spring Derrek Lee is having

.490/.509/.784

You beat me to it. :D DLee is having an incredible Spring Training. Hopefully he doesn't cool off too quickly.

Kent vs Dunn.

What would happen if the two faced each other?

the universe would fold in upon itself.
