I know they are trying to play it safe on offense, but I'd really like to see a deep pass to Berrian to try and open up the running game.

They've already tried going to Berrian down the sideline at least twice. They need to get Clark involved.

 

Agreed, they've got to try and get some production in the middle of the field try and prevent the safeties (Sanders) from cheating so much in the box.

 

Some play action might open up the middle.

I would try a reverse as well on that 1st drive as well as playaction.

This game is still winnable, but the offense needs to step up.

 

This is exactly what I was thinking. It's just like the Chiefs/Colts game.

 

Rex has been scrutinized, and the Bears have a great running game. Play action would have really opened things up in the first half.

I know a three and out is too much to ask for but, its imperative the Bears get a stop to start the 2nd Half and Rex show why Smith has stuck with him.

Oh, he's absolutely one of them for me. He doesn't always get thought of because he also plays 20-someodd other instruments and doesn't just play guitar all the time.
