Just went and talked to him at his apartment a few minutes ago, and he was like "man, I'm not even sure if I'm gonna be a first rounder ya know?"

Crazy.

i don't think that you're a cleat chaser, but other than reiterating the fact that you know a football player, what are you trying to accomplish with this post?

reiterating the fact that I know a football player? Dude, I know so many pro athletes it makes my head spin. When you're involved in SEC athletics for several years you are bound to know lots of guys who make it big. He's just one of those.

What I WAS trying to reiterate was his humbleness, how he doesn't even think he's going to be a first rounder and is nervous about it, while just about every draft has him going in the top 15.

He's a guy with tremendous character. To go from picking cotton to being a millionaire pro athlete is a great story.

Ass. That wasn't arrogance, that was a defense of you implying that I'm proud of the fact I know a football player. It's not a unique thing or even that big of a deal to me.

He's 6'6" 291lbs and runs a low 4.72 40-yard dash. He's also a high character guy which some teams value. I don't think he's top 5, but he could go as high as SF at 11 and I don't see him falling past Jacksonville at 17. He's probably the #3 DE in this draft behind Adams and Anderson.

Wolfe ran a 4.39 40 in NIU's pro day

He can make a really good punt/kick returner and change of pace back for some team willing to draft him.

I think that he would be a perfect pick for the Rams if he is there on the 2nd day. They need a speed back to go with Jackson, and they need a KR as well. I hope is he there for them in the later rounds

I'm hoping we draft him because we really need a returner.

It is cowboysfan31. I think I've only got a grand total of 1 post...it took almost a month to get my account activated, so for the most part I've been a lurker.

Garret Wolfe is gonna get murdered in the NFL.

He's no smaller than Sproles, who was fine in 05. He had a broken leg last year, but I don't think that had a lot to do with his size.

If this is true, i'm very amused by your signature.

"very amused"?

So because I've got a couple of buddies from high school and college ball who are now pros, that means I can't support them?

The BrushBack just released their mock draft..funny stuff...

http://www.thebrushback.com/mockdraft07.htm

Bears

31 DE Adam Carriker Nebraska Sr.

This guy may not be the top guy on the board, but he has certain qualities (he’s white) that would make him appealing (he’s white) on pretty much any team (white), including mine (I heart whites).

Slightly edited due to language, but oh the hilarity.

25 RB Adrian Peterson Oklahoma Jr.

This is a perfect spot for the Jets to pick a running back. Even though they already have Thomas Jones, it would be funny to make him split carries with a rookie just to watch him go all apes#$t.

Posted

I really can't pick a favorite one. Most of them are just superb.

12 DE Jamaal Anderson Arkansas Jr.

The Bills desperatly need a running back but there are no good ones available. I suggest they trade down a spot and see if there are any there.

13 DE Anthony Spencer Purdue Sr.

Scott Linehan really changed the culture in the Rams locker room last year. Too bad he couldn’t change the culture on the field. Decent offense, embarrassing defense. Sound familiar? The Rams essentially switched coaches so they could save a few time outs.

16 ILB David Harris Michigan Sr.

The Packers should pick up an inside linebacker here because the Steelers are taking an inside linebacker and they seem to know what they’re doing.
