btw, did anyone hear this exchange by the announcers?

Guy 1: blah blah blah stay up past 8:30 to have a good time on South Beach.

Guy 2: Well, I have two Trojans up here in the booth with me. I can show them how to have a good time.

Think before you speak, man!

I caught it and giggled to myself. When my mom asked what I was laughing at, I told her what was said. She was shocked until I explained what the guy was getting at.

tHom Brennaman had a HUGE gaffe during yesterday's game.

Barry Alvarez: These guys are down on the field pounding each other out there! I love it!!

tHom: Barry and Chris (I think it was Chris?) are enjoying this hard hitting so much that they're BANGING each other right up here in the booth!

There's also the fact that Boise State didn't try a trick play until the last play of regulation.

Exactly. They went head to head with Oklahoma for almost all the game, except for the hook and lateral.

Hey, if you're 50+ yards away from a TD, anything goes, especially with only a minute, and that OU is defending the sidelines, trying to force BSU to use their timeouts.

It's a perfect call.

And that OU D was confused on what BSU was going to do. Isn't that part of the game plan to confuse your opponent, trick or no trick plays?

My mom caught that one and made us rewind so the rest of us could hear it.

Boise St. officially can't win the NC, as I learned today that the new BCS rule is that the coaches HAVE to put the winner of the BCS title game at #1 in their final rankings.

Yeah, but they can still win the AP poll.

The AP is no longer affiliated with the BCS, so I'm not sure anyone would recognize a #1 in the AP as being a co-National Champ

During College GameDay they showed a highlight reel of the bowl season up to this point. Mark May commented that we've seen some amazing comebacks in the bowls this year including Texas Tech over Minnesota and Boise State over Oklahoma. The problem, of course, is that it was Oklahoma who made the comeback against Boise State and not the other way around.

I don't know why I even bother listening to Mark May.

Anyone who heard this stat, don't answer. It blew my mind, though. Take a guess if you don't know.

How many different teams have won bowl games since the last Notre Dame bowl victory (in 1994)?
