Wow, Roethlisberger ran for a 41 yard TD.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

If we started playing like this a little sooner we'd get Brady Quinn for sure

Well we're struggling against the Lions. Our offense keeps crapping out when we get to around the 50 yard line.

Santonio Holmes TD

34-3

The Panthers are the comedy gift that keeps on giving.

(In case you haven't noticed, they've officially driven me insane)

ETA: That was the last straw for CBS - they went to the Titans game.

Somehow Carolina went from a team with no holes in preseason to a team that sucks at absolutely everything.

After a Favre INT near our own goal line, we somehow hold Detroit to 3.

10-9 with 9:33 left. This is one ugly game. Favre has 3 INTs and a lost fumble and Kitna has also thrown 2 picks. Against any other team, we'd be down by at least 4 TDs.

Packers win and keep their slim playoff hopes alive.

Carolina and Minnesota losing was nice because we would own the tiebreaker on both of them. Hopefully the Giants and Raiders can win in the later games.

Well, at least that should be the end of Dan Henning, who put together the single worst offensive gameplan in football history today.

Jacksonville TE Marcedes Lewis has this as his away message on AIM while he's playing football:

U KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS....I SIT BACK AND DO A HATER LIKE GARBAGE MAIL....CLICK EM'... DRAG EM'...AND PUT EM' IN THE GARBAGE PAIL....

That is all.

I'm not sure what's funnier, his away message or the fact that you have his AIM screen name.

 He graduated a year after I did - I had a few classes with his roommate and that's how I know Marcedes/found out his s/n.

Garrard with a Bad-Rex-like day.

Yuck.

He got the turnovers right, but got about 8 times too many yards and completions. Not that similar. 98 yards of offense to 396 is impressive.

I think the myth of the great AFC is kinda faltering. Obviously stronger than the NFC, but no teams are really that dominating except SD (thanks to one of the best offensive seasons by a player ever..)

Good teams don't look as good when they're playing other good teams.

Like when the Ravens struggled against a near certain playoff Browns team.

That's one example. The Bears struggled yesterday against a near certain playoff Buccaneers team.

The AFC also is 38-22 against the NFC this year.

I'm not saying there are more playoff-caliber teams in the AFC than the NFC. I do think the NFC gets often short-changed, though, on the whole. My point was simply that everyone struggles against opponents they have no business struggling against.

Also, the NFC West is simply awful. Probably 4 of the 8 worst teams in the NFL. Unfortunately one of them has to make the playoffs.

I do think the Bears, Cowboys, Eagles, Giants, and Saints can play with any of the AFC teams, though.

I also think the Bears, Ravens, and Chargers are a clear step above everyone else at this point.

I wouldn't call it struggling. It really wasn't a hard fought game. The Bears completely dominated until they went to sleep in the 4th, and TB took advantage. The Bears then re-awakened and snuffed out TB's chances.

The Bears needed overtime at home to beat a team that is likely to get a top 5 pick in the draft.

Right now, they're 3rd.

I'd root for them to get Quinn if it wouldn't negatively impact the Panthers.
