Right now, they're 3rd.

I'd root for them to get Quinn if it wouldn't negatively impact the Panthers.

Well, I don't think you have much to worry about. The Raiders host KC and then have a road game against the Jets, and if they couldn't score a point against the Rams' awful defense, I'm pretty sure they're not winning either of those games. The Lions definitely lose next week at the Cowboys. This week I think they lose, but there's the question of Bears' motivation.

How does Michael Irvin still have a job. He blatantly cheers for the Cowboys, even more than Ditka does for the Bears. Last week, Irvin called the Cowboys "we", this week he wanted Tony Romo to be in Steve Youngs top five quarterbacks in the NFL. What the hell. At least Ditka, which may or may not have been right, said the Bears weren't the best team in the NFC a couple weeks back. Irvin would never short change his team. What a bafoon.

Irvin probably thinks the Cowboys are better than the Saints. Heck, for that matter, he probably thinks they're the favorite in the NFC.

Carson Palmer should know to never run backwards against the Colts D. The Colts ends like to rush outside, and frequently are behind the QB-if the QB starts running backwards, things like that can happen.

Not that I'm complaining-let's go Colts! :D

How are you allowed to challenge a play that was ruled incomplete?

I think the rule is that if it is ruled a fumble, the Bengals would get the ball at the point of the fumble (therefore the same as a sack).

Yep. the ball is dead when it hit the ground, but the difference is the line of scrimage/where it hit the ground

well i guess my hopes for a bengals playoff run has been crushed

isn't that overreacting a little? The Bengals still have the 6th seed and make the playoffs if they win out. This will be tough, obviously, with a huge road game against Denver coming up this week, but I don't think Jacksonville wins out (vs NE, @ KC) and the Jets game at Miami this week is no gimme either. In any case, even if the Bengals finish with the 6th seed, I think they could beat whoever they'd play (probably Baltimore?)
