Of the 3 games today this late game is worth the most points to me. Its worth 4.

Well done ND. You are flat out rockn right now.

My 115 points and 5-1 record places me in the 98th percentile of all ESPN.com players right now :)

This is completely out of character for me, I used to almost take pride in my ability to get under 40% of the bowl games right.

Don't worry, there are plenty of bowl games left.

I'm very disappointed in this ASU-Hawaii game so far. I don't want this out of every game I watch, but one bowl game a year I just want to know that it's going to be all offense and just watch the fireworks. I was thinking this was going to be the game, and they have a long way to go from the 3-3 score with 5 minutes gone in the second quarter. This game will almost certainly heat up from here, but it's still going to be a long way to get into the high 30's-40's I was hoping for-oh well.

It's beginning to heat up as Hawaii scored three times in the third, hopefully it keeps building from there.

By the way, I really enjoy watching Hawaii's offense, it seems to run so smoothly. And I think Arizona State may be worse than even I thought, they've looked really bad tonight.

I don't know about that-Arizona State has played about as well as Purdue did, and that's somewhat close to their level this year (and Purdue was probably better during the season). I'm not sure what you actually thought they were, but they were a so-so team all season, and they have been a so-so team so far tonight.

I thought they were a so-so team and they've played worse. The offense up until the fourth has looked uncoordinated at best and that is really all they have to hang their hat on. The defense was good for a half but is getting eaten alive in the second half.

That second unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Hawaii's Bess was pitiful. That rule has been grossly overexaggerated for the past couple years and it's only getting worse.

All Bess did was run back and high five a group of fans. If that's unsportsmanlike conduct then the Packer players should be thrown out every time they do the Lambeau Leap. ESPN's play by play guy Mark Jones put it well saying basically "if you don't want them to make you feel bad, don't let them score."

Hawaii's got a legit complaint if they end up losing because they can't move the ball.

Yeah I was gonna post about the same thing. The NFL punishments for celebrations are too strict, but the college punishments are arbitrary and ridiculous. As they said, the idea behind the rule is to punish players who go out of their way to degrade or humiliate their opponent. How exactly does running through the end zone and then going to high-five some of your own fans degrade the opposition?

Second half of this game sure has been fun to watch. Brennan is really accurate with is passes.

I actually had my computer shut off and was about to fall asleep when I saw that and got so annoyed that I got up just to post about it. It's been annoying me for some time and that call may have been the worst yet.

And about Brennan, he looks very good. The Sun Devil defense is atrocious but I think Brennan could dice up some good defenses. June Jones may be right that he'll be the first QB taken if he stays one more year.

The announcers tonight have gone so far out of their way to sound hip. It's rather embarrassing.

Overall they've been decent but some of the things they've said have been a little silly.

Excellent. The camera panned over to Colt Brennan signing some autographs for fans and the announcers said, "Please don't throw a flag for establishing contact with the fans." Priceless.

Very good numbers for Brennan tonight, 33-42 559 yards and five TDs. Just nine incompletions in 42 attempts is especially impressive.

Brennan and Rivers blew up - 560 yds passing for Colt, 300+ yds receiving for Rivers, both bowl and school records. I didn't see if Colt broke the efficiency rating for a single-season.

I think he'd be well-served to come back, assuming he wouldn't be a high first round pick this year. A good portion of their offense is back next year. I think he could put up numbers just as good, and with Troy Smith, Quinn, and probably Adrian Peterson gone, he'll likely be a co-favorite for the Heisman with McFadden.

He'll likely be second to McFadden for the Heisman if he stays. I also agree he should stay, especially considering Smith, Quinn and Chris Leak could easily all go ahead of him. And there could be more, they're just off the top of my head.
