I know he is considering retirement, but for the right price he may be able to be talked out of it. He is a proven winner and does not require a long term committment. He averages about 35 more innings pitched then lilly, even over an extended career, and has a .38 better average era. Not to mention he has almost 3 times as many wins in only 4 more years than lilly. Plus, unlike Lilly and Padilla and Jake Westbrook and Jason Jennings he has viable postseason experience. I was just wondering why i hadn't heard his name in a while.

He was pitching in severe pain with a torn labrum. He could have had surgery to repair it, but chose to retire.

I doubt he has any plans on playing again.

why not? because in order to play he would have to have surgery on his shoulder, and because if he did play, it would be without a doubt for the Twins

You really need to think a little bit before you post, or at least research your topic. As the posters above have clearly explained, Radke has no shoulder.

I don't think that was necessary.

I agree. Don't attack the poster. It's no big deal that he wasn't aware of the full extent of Radke's injury.

Thirded. Also, shredded wheat (particularly bite-sized frosted mini-wheats) is very good.

I would love for Prior to come back and pitch like we all know he can. And then do an interview here on Northside and not answer any questions of people who questioned his manliness. It's like you actually think he doesn't want to play. That's his life, his love, and probably all he knows how to do. Give the guy a break and give it a rest.
