only time my dog wakes me up at 3am is when theres someone in my yard, i consider this a good thing. also my dog doesnt crap in a crap filled box inside my house and then jump on my kitchen counter, again a good thing.

However, I used to have a dog, and he was amazing also.

 

AND I used to have a cat that acted like a dog. This thing was huge, I watched it chase a full grown black lab out of my yard one time. I laughed; hard.

I'm glad to see that the correct answer is leading this thing. While I tend to love 'em all, dogs are clearly the better choice.

 

I love some cats, though - the ones that act like dogs. Also, as has already been pointed out, cats are more likely to exhibit behavior that you would expect out of the Antichrist.

No contest. Dogs. There's only one cat I ever liked, and that's cuz he had some gas problem and he could seriously clear a room several times a day (he wasn't my cat of course...so I thought it was hilarious).
