Cats are for people that are too lazy to care about their pets. They are goldfish with fur.

 

I prefer a pet who actually likes me and plays with me, not one that thinks it's better than me.

My cat both likes and plays with me. He loves for me to dangle one of his toys near him so he can pounce and attack it.

 

Of course, he's a 6-month-old kitten, so he thinks everything in the house (the couch, the dog, my arm) is meant to be attacked.

very tough call. Probably cats. They're equally affectionate (mine are), but cats require less hands on care.

I love dogs, but there are so many inconveniences to deal with regarding dogs--and believe me, I know, being a door to door salesman. I never have to worry about my cat keeping the neighbors up at 1 AM. I don't have to talk over cats to be heard. Cats don't jump up on me and cover me in saliva. I don't smell like cat all day after playing with one. I don't have to let the cat out to crap all the time. The list goes on and on.

My cats can play fetch and sit and shake. This makes them superior to dogs.

 

Although I do like dags.
