Well, Northwestern played like crap and Michigan ran a very conservative offense and didn't play that well. And then Bacher takes a shot to his recently healed right leg.

 

Classy not to take a couple of knees and run out the clock, though.

NIU came back to make it 17-14 Iowa, but then a TD with around 3 minutes left for the Hawkeyes iced it.

Wow this thread is dull without the Mizzou backers.

 

Missouri isn't doing too well today so it's not surprising to not hear anything from the posters that go there.

 

It's hard to root for OU, but I am today.

 

Missouri looks very avg. and like an Alamo Bowl team or worse. They shouldn't expect to win next week either.

Missouri isn't doing too well today so it's not surprising to not hear anything from the posters that go there.

Well, it's a home game so I'm assuming most of the current MU students are at the game. As for me, I rarely post in these threads anyways just cause I like to sit back and watch the game, not sit at my computer the whole time.

Some of the worst play calling I've ever seen. First and Goal on the 3, and we run 4 plays, all in shotgun? Impressive.

 

The Chase Coffman dropped wide-open pass that would've been a TD in the first quarter completely switched the game.

 

Our players were not mentally ready today. So many penalties. Fourth down and punting...roughing the kicker. Third down, stop them, late hit. Unbelievable.

 

Someone needs to smack these coaches upside the head and tell them to get rid of their pride and get under center. The spread offense is fine until you have to score and have a few yards to do so.

 

Our players better focus this week. The Big 12 North title is on the line next Saturday in Lincoln.

As usual, kudos to Navy for making the Irish work early before the talent differential really showed itself in the 3rd quarter. Brady had a couple of really freaking good throws, especially his first TD to Grimes.

 

BSU and Miami are tied at 7 at the half.

PSU defense looking damn good the past few weeks. Too bad the offense just stalls in the red zone. Either way, they'll make a good game of it next week in Madison. Already bowl eligible, so now it's time to try for a New Year's day game.

Awesome. Up 7-0, Oregon State gives up a huge play to USC on third and long. On the next play, Booty throws a pick in the endzone on one-on-one coverage, which was bobbled and returned to the 50.

I love Navy's coach, one of the more underrated ones in the game, never has talent there, but has the gimmick system that gains yardage and keep his defense off the field.

Unbelievable. I still can't believe that Coffman dropped that damn pass. That woulda put Mizzou up 10-0 in the first. Instead, next play is a pick on a deflection. Sucked the life out of the stadium. Then, we get to 16-10, get a three and out, but a freakin stupid, crappy, just unbelievable roughing hte kicker penalty. Instead of first and ten Tigers at our own 45, its first and ten OU. THAT play killed us. Unreal. I'm really pissed right now.

I don't think that's true. There's no way they would be ahead of Michigan, but they still would be #3, simply by being undefeated with their strength of schedule. For now, they deserve to be there-if they get their first loss, then they can be dropped behind most of the one loss teams where they belong.

Oregon State's play calling is as bad as UCLA's. Drop back deep for a pass on 2nd and goal at the goal line? Don't get the play call in until :05 on the play clock?
