Purdue won at home against Illinois. Ok, we get it. Purdue also lost at Minnesota.

 

Of course, there is no need for an argument whether Purdue OR Illinois deserved 1 bid, as they are both in.

Arkansas really shouldn't be in the tournament.

I am not sure how so many people can think Syracuse is the biggest omission, they didnt play anyone in their OCC and the one good team they did play was Drexel and Syracuse lost. Drexel should be in and Arkansas should be out in my opinion.

I'll take it. I definitely would've preferred the 13 seed against UVA, but I didn't want to play Texas, and I'd rather play SIU than Maryland. I think it's a winnable game for us.

He does fight for the little guys though. Unlike Packer.

 

they both suck...vitale is just more annoying because he screams all the time.

I am really surprised that Arkansas and Stanford got in. There resumes are worse than a lot of teams left out. I think Drexler should have definetly got in with maybe kansas state or syracuse getting the other spot. I also was not to happy that there is a potential match up between Southern Illinois and Illinois. Ill is my favorite team but come tournament time I like to cheer for all Illinois teams and having the only 2 Ill teams potentially face each other in the 2nd round kinda sucks. I do like that we face Virgina Tech in the first round though I think we should be able to win that pretty easy and Southern should be able to beat Holy Cross pretty easy too.

I think you highly underestimate Virginia Tech. Or overestimate Illinois.

What have you seen from Illinois this year against a quality team that has led you to believe that they would win "pretty easily"?

SIU and Illinois are my two favorite teams. I'd just like for them to play each other though because a matchup between the two has been overdue.
