Why didn't Kelvin wear sneakers today? Is he pulling for cancer? lol.

Just another reason to hate the crybaby cheater.

I get the cheater refrence...but why is he a crybaby?

When I was watching the Iowa vs. IU game last week he seemed to be whining excessively to the ref's. I know many coaches cry to the ref's, it just seemed excessive to me. Hence my new name for him the crybaby cheater.

Ok, just curious.

Nobody in the Big 10 matches Weber when it comes to whining on the sideline though.

At least Weber isn't pulling for cancer. Sampson has sunk to a new low.

I know you're just kidding, but I really wonder why Sampson wasn't wearing smeakers. He is one of the big guys in Coaches vs. Cancer.

What a joke game, and that's not a blast on Mizzou, those were the absolute WORST refs I have ever seen. Absolutely terrible.

It would be okay with me if we got the short end of every call for the rest of time as long as these whistlefests go away. If this game hadn't been out of reach for the last 5-6 minutes(well, it was out of reach longer than that, but that's when both teams kinda backed off) it would've been 50+ fouls easily. Anderson got his first technical as a Tiger.

One thing that bothered me was how once we got up 16-8, Anderson took out basically all of the starters. That's when Kansas went on an eleventy bajillion to two run. They were hot, why take them out?

Also, you knew it was going to be a long day with the refs because Anderson took the suit jacket off about 7 minutes into the game. Usually it doesn't come off until late in the first half or the second half.

Yep, some of Anderson's substitution patterns are starting to bug me. Marshall Brown must've hit on his daughter or something, he disappeared from the floor for looong stretches. I'm also of the opinion that there's no way that Watkins should be entering the game before Tiller.

Anderson was pissed with good reason too. We were in the double bonus by the 10 minute mark, and the discrepancy was 9 to 2 around the 12 minute mark. I longed for Hightower or Welmer.

Also, Leo Lyons needs to be taught to play inside. Whenever he comes in for Grimes, he hands out by the arch and we have no one inside and no one to rebound.

Yep, I don't mind it as much when a stiff like Kaun is defending him, because he can penetrate very well. But when Wright or Arthur are defending you, it's time to set picks and get in the paint.

I disagree, Sampson loves cancer.

Just got back from the SIU-Cr8on game. And the game was just as good as I thought it would be. C75, I don't know about the worst refs ever in the Mizzou-Kansas game. We had some REAL awful refs. Thankfully, we were still able to pull out the 4 point win.

3 straight road games starting with Missouri State on Tuesday. Hopefully we can keep this streak going.

I had that game on but wasn't paying that close attention, and I heard the crowd not being pleased at all with the way things went at the end of the first half. It seemed to be no-calls that were getting people upset, I'd rather have that than a foul more than once a minute.

It was a little of that as they were calling it very touchy when we were on defense, but Creighton did get away with a lot. Creighton did manage to shoot double the FT's that we did (32 to 16). Thankfully Shaw and Tatum were huge tonight.

Sure, keep telling yourself that. Kelvin loves cancer.

I really thought Penn St. would be decent this year. Not a tourney team, but respectable.

What happened?

can't score from the outside and have trouble finishing plays

I'm not one to cheer injuries. But Ed Hightower tore a meniscus, and because of it is not reffing the UW/Iowa game. Anybody know how long a torn meniscus would keep a guy on the shelf?

Rereading this thread for the IU/Illinois talk and saw this for the first time. My eyes lit up. Surely he's got to be done for the season, right?

:(

UK missed so many open three pointers. they played better than i expected, but Florida played worse than i thought they would. UK got lucky to have horford and noah in foul trouble, but couldn't capitalize.

He loves being a cancer to the Illini's recruiting, does that count?

Brent Musberger has to be disappointed. That guy has the biggest hard-on for Hightower.

Why in the hell would you subject yourself to that?
