Definitely missing Luc - Alfred isn't the same inside on offense and can't go out on the perimeter on defense like Luc can.

Afflalo is off to a hot start with a jumper. Nice to see Arron start hot for once.

ETA: Sorry for breaking up the Big 10 posts.

He hadn't even taken the shot when the contact was made, how can you call an offensive foul and then count the basket?

this was the most hilariously unacceptable call ever

Can someone explain what happened on the call you are all talking about? Some of us are at work and dealing with ESPN game cast which at one point had Illinois players taking free throws for Wisconsin.

They called Landry for a charge. He had made contact then let the ball go. Yet they decided to count the bucket anyways.

Landry drives the lane, Randle(?) tries to take a charge. Landry goes up, Randle falls down, then Landry shoots and makes the layup. Officials called an offensive foul on Landry, but counted the basket.

A Wisconsin player drove in with about 35 seconds left and about the same time he released the ball he crashed into an Illinois player. A classic charge/block situation (and a charge this time) but the referee stepped in, gave the basket to Wisconsin, and called a foul after the shot on Wisconsin's player and gave Illinois 2 free throws. It was actually a charge during the shot though, so it should have been Illinois ball with no basket.

No I am not and neither are the other posters complaining about it.

I don't understand. That makes no sense.

The only way you count the offensive basket and call the charge is if the player released the ball well before running into the defender. Landry released the ball AFTER running into the defender and AFTER THE FRIGGIN WHISTLE.

Exactly. They should've either whistled Randle and counted the basket, or gotten Landry for the charge and not counted it.

It was a clear charge. Tucker went over Frazier's back in front of everyone. I think we must have been the road team.
