Has anybody been catching West Virginia's games? They've just been annihilating teams thus far, but I haven't seen how they play. Old Spice final tomorrow night looks scary.

And to top it off, you can get so much experience from close games, even the losses. Really help you come tourney time.

It's been a while since I've checked in - and I basically have two things to say:

 

1) I'm pissed about the UNC loss to Gonzaga (but they're a young team; they should get better)

 

2) That KU-Florida game was AWESOME. My girlfriend's family are big KU fans, and I watched the game with her stepdad. It was great.

 

Oh yeah - and UNC-Ohio St on Wednesday should be another good one. Too bad I have to miss it.

Soooo nobody wants to comment on NW's big win over North Florida?

 

NW's leading scorers had 8 points in a scinilating 40-39 win.

 

They are effectively setting college basketball back to the pre shot clock era.

Wow. Typical KU, had it sewn up and then coughed it away. I'm really glad they sacked up and won it in the end. That game really a lot to KU--more than it did to FLA. We've looked so bad this year. They needed the confidence boost, I think.

 

I didn't realize Noah whined so much. And usually w/o good reason. Still, he's a hell of a player. That team is scary.

 

Who's #1 now? My vote goes to UCLA.

I was cheering for Florida. But only because they haven't had many no. 1 rankings in their history, so I kinda wanted them to enjoy their moment in the sun a little while longer. Also, since Florida is a football school, maybe staying at no. 1 will turn people's attention to basketball, which is always good for college basketball.

I don't get why Coble isn't getting more playing time. I know Carmody hasn't been pleased with him, but if this season is about anything, it's learning with experience.

 

I'd love to be there Tuesday night, but at least I should just about be getting home from work around tipoff.
