I really hope the UC is rocking next Saturday (doubtful) for my second Bulls game of the year. If anybody is interested in going to the game, I have a few tickets left (email variety) that I will sell to you exactly what I paid for them...

53 dollars (46 dollar seats and the stupid TicketBastard Fees)

PM me if interested.

When the Bulls stay in their offense, they really are a treat to watch. When they start jacking up shots with no one in rebounding position, it's ugly

Wow, the Atlantic division could feasibly have 5 of the 8 worst NBA teams (Atlanta, Charlotte, Memphis). Nobody in the Atlantic can beat anyone outside their own division.

Gotta be huge favorites in the East. 9 of their 12 losses came in their first 12 games, including 6 on a ridiculous 7 game road trip. Detroit is just 1-3 vs. the division, and has not played the Bulls yet. Cleveland is a good team, but I don't see them making a lot of noise in the division, unless they add 1 more player. Detroit will hang around, but the Bulls will pull away with the division and #1 seed late.

Isn't it great when an organization has a legitimate plan and it actually works?

Detroit is a solid team, but the East really doesn't impress me. The way the Bulls have been playing the last month, they should be the #1 seed come playoff time.

I'm getting ahead of myself, but I REALLY would love to see a Bulls-Pistons ECF matchup.

I was wondering why Nocioni hadn't had a lot of playing time the last couple of games...so I went and looked up his stats on ESPN and saw this note:

Nocioni played only 33 minutes over the weekend because of matchup and foul problems, the Chicago Tribune reports. (Jan 2)

Maybe this was discussed many pages ago, but last week I caught the pregame (or postgame...don't remember) on WGN and a Bulls beat reporter was saying the Paxson and Kobe Bryant had serious talks preseason about a sign and trade type deal to bring him to Chicago. I was surprised that that was the first I'd heard of it.

Ya. It was back in 2004 when he was a free agent. Paxson and JR secretly flew to LA to talk to him. Also, he apparently was looking into houses and the area schools.

Ah, it was that long ago. I caught the discussion midstream and thought it was this year (with the "sign" part being an extension)

A win tonight and all of a sudden the Bulls have the best record in the Eastern Conference. Big week this week.

Another marquee matchup not on national TV. I really hate TNT/ESPN's manlove for all things Dallas/San Antonio/Miami

The Cavs are hosting the Spurs and they're relegated to NBA TV. Of course, there are no national games tonight, probably since they didn't want to bother competing with the BCS.

I was just thinking about how refreshing it is for the Bulls to be one of the top teams in the league again.

I honestly barely remember them being the joke of the league for about 6 years.

The Bulls' craptacular third quarter is finally catching up with them. 64-59. They've looked horrible on offense.
