In case you guys forgot, Tyrus Thomas has tremendous leaping ability.

Yeah, I liked how he made the block to start a fast break then ran the court and finished it off with a dunk. He looks like he's going to be a pretty special player.

What's wrong with Deng, by the way?

Nothing. He's in London getting his UK citizenship.

Thanks...I just saw in the box score that he had a DNP but hadn't heard anything about an injury.

Thank you Isaiah Thomas. Now the Knicks need one mroe losing season because the Bulls can switch picks with them again next year if Paxson wants to. Thomas played bad for three quarters, and then turned it on. The Bulls have to have one of the deepest teams in the league. What is the guard they want to keep but have no room for? The guy who made the last second shot in game one? Baxter?

He had another huge dunk tonight even though the Bulls barely lost their first game of the preseason. Asked to comment, Denny Green said "The TWolves knew who the Bulls were!"

The Bulls haven't had a young player with this kind of ceiling since Pippen, and Thomas looks more polished than Pippen did his rookie season.

Are you saying I was wrong for ripping im as a draft choice? :D

The kid has the skills, and everyone knew it.

I'm always careful to just look at athleticism, toughness, and character in college players. Nobody knows what will happen when they reach the pros, because what people don't understand is there are limits to the amount of practice players can put in in college------in other words, once they reach the pros they have plenty of room for development left in the tank.

Jury will still be out on this kid until regular season games start, but needless to say so far so good.

Tyrus was, IMO, the best of what wasn't a great many options at the Bulls' slot, and the fact that we got a Darius Songaila Lite in addition was just brilliant work on Pax's part. I'm glad to see him enjoying so much success this early.

Gordon looked great tonight. He took the ball to the basket again and again. 38 points in 32 minutes. 12-12 on FTA. Shot well over 50% from the field. Can't wait for Tuesday night.
