And as much as I love Durant's game, I much rather have Greg Oden.

It would be hard to argue that.

Durant game is ill, don't get me wrong, but he isn't exactly a NEED, he would be a luxury.....a VERY TALENTED luxury, but Oden fits the Bulls better.

With that said, I doubt the Bulls will end up with either the 1 or 2 pick, so the debate of KD and GO is moot for the Bulls.

If limited means 19ppg and 7rpg, while shooting .519% from the field and playing solid defense as a 21/22 year old, I'll take it.

I think Durant could top that next season. As a 19 year old.

Deng's best years will be in the 23 and 7 range.

Durant's will be in the 33 and 9 range.

Deng is a very good role player, but he isn't a game changer that necessitates a double team. Durant can be that guy who does everything Deng does, but better in addition to driving the lane and drawing 10-15 ft's a game.

You realize Deng is 21 years old right? To say he is a very good role player is crazy. Also to say Dengs best is in the 23 and 7 range is wrong also. Deng since giving up shooting 3's as often has become a slash and drive type of guy with a really good mid range jumper. There is no reason to think Deng cant average 25-28 a game, when he gets a little older, you know like 25. Also to say Durant is going to average 33 points a game is ridiculous. Do you realize how hard it is to average 33 a game in the NBA?

Hey, with the bad shape of the big market eastern teams, Stern might be desperate to get at least one great team with marketable stars. You never know.

Our chances of landing either Oden or Durant are extremely slim...

I suppose we can dream though.

Right now the Knicks are 9th from the bottom. But with 4 games remaining they could end up as low as 5th from the bottom. What kind of odds do they have for the 5th-9th slots?

Here are the chances of the #1 pick from those slots

5th-8.8%

6th-6.3%

7th-4.3%

8-2.8%

9-1.7%

8th from the bottom if you sort by winning percentage and not games back.

assuming best case scenario (Knicks lose all remaining games, teams below them win remaining games), how far can the Knicks fall?

What is the combined chance that the Bulsl get the first or second pick?I'd take Oden or Durant in a heartbeat.

If they get all the way to the 5th slot, they have an 18.44% chance of getting one of the top 2 picks.

Assuming the teams below the Knicks will win their remaining games is a pipe dream. With Minnesota playing Dallas and Sacramento playing San Antonio, the Knicks will likely be back in the 10-11 range again tonight. I think 7-8 is the best we can hope for realistically.

I'll be ecstatic if the final standing end up as listed below. The Bulls would be a coin flip away from the 6th slot.

IND 37-45

SAC 36-46

CHA 34-48

MIN 33-49

PHI 33-49

POR 32-50

NY 32-50

SEA 31-51

ATL 30-52

MIL 27-55

BOS 24-58

MEM 19-63

Is this the 3rd or 4th time this year the Knicks have had problems with teams "running up the score"? Seems to me that lousy franchise should worry more about what is causing them to be susceptible to being blown out, than what other teams are doing to blow them out.

I really love when NY teams fall flat. It helps me tolerate the fans a little more every day.

"

I think they were definitely trying to rub it in," said Eddy Curry, who spent his first four seasons with the Bulls. "But we'll see them next year."

Yeah, looking up from last place...again.

STFU Curry, You have been a bum since high school when your team couldn't even beat Schaumburgh.

"We just wanted to do something for the fans," Duhon said. "I don't cook, so I wanted one myself.

LOL! You tell 'em Du. 8-)

I know I have been critical of Pax at times, but I will defend him to the end on the Eddy Curry trade. This guy is simply gutless. Right now he is tossing up 19PPG in garbage time, thats it.

He will never be a catalyst for a team that goes deep in the playoffs.

And if someonehow he is on a good enough team that does make it far, he will crumble like a little girl in the postseason
