PJ Brown isn't allowed to get offensive rebounds, but Weber can get away with anything, apparently.

Well, of course he can.

I swear, no wonder the Pistons are 1st in the East if the refs rape their opponents this badly all the time.

what happened?

Billups took a shot and missed. Webber pushed PJ Brown away and put it back in (it should have been a foul, but PJ should consider boxing out at least when the game is on the line).

Ben Gordon got a great look at the corner to win it and missed.

This loss is on Skiles and his insistence at allowing Detroit to score 12 unanswered points to close out the 3rd quarter, as well as his inexplicable decision to play Adrian Griffin during the same period of time when Detroit was playing a 3-2 zone.

Inexcusable coaching.

yeah, how dare Skiles allow them to score 12 unanswered! He should have told his team to, um, not do that!

HUH?

He could have, you know, called a timeout at any point in that run of play where he had a terrible team on the floor that couldn't execute a zone offense and couldn't block out, but he didn't.

Anything that stops a runaway train of momentum would have been a good thing. Instead, he let a good team get back in the game with poor bench management and poor coaching decisions.

PJ wasn't in position to block out, though.

He's pretty worthless. We got the only 7' in the league who doesn't want to play physical, apparently. Songalia was 10X better than that.

I'm glad we played Det tough in their building, but that's a bad loss. The game was ours, easily.

It happens far too often with our team. I know in the NBA, any team can make a run. But we have blown countless double digit leads the past two years. The coaching has to be responsible for that.

if PJ hadn't score 19 points today, this would have been a double digit loss.

You're assuming someone else with those minutes would not have been able to do that.

Anyway he was in there on that play to block out, and he just flat out didn't.

He should have, you know, not played Adrian Griffin in a key situation.

Or even better, called a bloody timeout.

Perhaps regrouping after a timeout would have helped.

My disdain for Adrian Griffin is not only rising, but getting into the ridiculous stage.

He has no business being on this team. Please be dealt in the offseason

Pax and Skiles love the guy's leadership.

I didn't like him much in his first stint here and I like him even less now. I thought it was a good signing back when we got him in the offseason because he was a pretty solid player with Dallas. I was definitely wrong on that one.

How he's getting minutes over Sefolosha, I'll never know.
