According to the Trib, Nocioni will be out tonight and perhaps until the All Star break or even longer.

 

Bulls officials wouldn't comment on how long Nocioni would be sidelined until seeing the MRI results. But management is expecting the absence to be lengthy, likely until after the Feb. 16 All-Star break.

 

If the MRI reveals a significant tear, Nocioni would be out even longer.

4 people in the dunk contest. WTF I really loathe David Stern. GIve us 8 dunkers again. Put up a million for the winners. Get Vince, LBJ, Kobe, Iggy, Jason Richardson, TMAC(although his back might be too gone), Shawn Marion, and Desmond Mason in it. This would at least make it must see TV again. Why did the stars during the '80s care more about this than the guys do now?

 

I think they don't care as much because most of the dunks have already been done-it's hard to have any sense of accomplishment, and so most of the top guys simply don't want to bother.

Oy. I really worry that Tyrus is one of those guys who needs more of a hands-off approach rather than a kick in the pants approach. This isn't going to help his cause over the rest of the season, either.

It wasn't just the jump shooters. The Bulls missed numerous layups and putbacks tonight. They didn't play very well at all and it was, at times, an ugly game to watch. Gordon was just horrible tonight. There is no reason to lose a game in which you attempt 30 more shots than the other team and get 21 offensive rebounds.

This damn game shouldn't have even been in OT. Awful rotations by Skiles, especially in the 4th, led to the Warriors comeback. Still, we should've won in OT, especially with Biedrins and Harrington fouled out. I don't know if we're ever going to win in Oakland.
