Bulls up 5 with 10 secs to go.....Anybody else catch that stat about all 3 teams in Chicago being over .500 at the same time since 1985. Thats crazy

The Hawks are 14-13-5. The 5 is not ties, they are OT losses. They have won 14 games, and lost 18. As much as it is reported, they are not over .500

Ah, I see. They just showed 14-13 on the tv

Yeah, my "rant" wasn't directed towards you at all.

That was one ***** look from Phil Jackson..lol.

he can go suck an egg. what's the big deal anyway? I never heard of such an unwritten rule. does it hurt Phil Jackson in anyway if the rookie runs in and slams it through the win?

I agree. Rookie mistake. Skiles quickly corrected him on it as well.

How is that even possible?? The Blackhawks were in the playoffs for a bunch of years in a row before that finally ended 7 or 8 years ago. They were definitely a stron gteam in the early 90's. The Bulls obviously were.

Were the Bears never above .500 at any moment while the other two were during those years? Weren't they a playoff team in 91? Were they ever any good from 90-93??

I have no proof, but that just seems like it can't be right (aside from the fact that the Hawks aren't really above .500 right now).

Woo! Go Bulls! Looks like I missed a good one (although I've been very good about not missing many games this year).

I agree, I found it to be really hard to believe. Maybe they said 1995. although I couldve sworn they said 85. I really dont know, but who cares the Bulls just won, and now I can stop hearing about how the Bulls havent beaten anybody above .500. And just for kicks and giggles....Hit the road Kobe!

Makes a lot more sense... Thanks

EDIT - The Cubs were above .500 in 1995 too...(although that wouldn't exactly apply since we're talking about all teams being .500 at the same time)..

I thought a lot of games were supposed to be on national TV this year. Outside of WGN Saturdays and like 2 other games, there hasn't been much

Not to mention Hinrich and their rebounding.

Down 54-51 at the half...

Can somebody remind the Bulls that they are playing the Knicks today and make sure that they actually show up in the second half? Because that would be great.

Yes it would be. They're playing terrible right now.

How can you be losing to the Knicks, especially after the suspensions, by 14...

Unlike Denver, the Knicks didn't really lose anybody important because of the brawl. Robinson, Collins and Jeffries are all backups so the only thing they lost was depth.

And those guys who'd otherwise not see the court at all are in there in this joke of a game by the Bulls.

Can't box out on defense, nor can they shoot. Sigh.
