The NBA has to change its damn continuation rule. Under no circumstance should a basket be counted after the person is fouled and takes two steps. And GEEZ Hawks making all their jumpers, Bulls cant make anything. Ugh.

also, when the person takes four steps, it's travelling

Woop!

Twice in that game i thought it was completely over.

they sure showed they never give up.... my favorite of this was BIG BEN draining 2 freethrows to tie the game up!

I'll take a second half of a back to back going on the road any day of the week.

Agreed.

9-1 in December to date.

Insider Chat"]Jason (Indiana): With the Bulls turn around are we a serious contender in the East? or are we just playing well against bad opponents?

John Hollinger: Not just a contender -- I would argue the favorite. If you look beyond W-L records at things like victory margin and strength of schedule, Chicago is easily the best team in that conference at the moment. That said, plenty can change between now and June.

I'm a happy man when the stats guy is a fan.

This one's for TT:

Insider Chat"]Dan (Detroit): You picked the Cavs to come out of the East at the begining of the season. The team looks like it's lacking effort and with an easy schedule thus far they haven't put themselves in the driver's seat yet. Stand by your prediction?

John Hollinger: Cavs have been hugely disappointing to me, even allowing for Hughes's absence. That offenseless effort against Orlando's backups on Saturday was the topping on the cake. I would put Chicago in the driver's seat at this point.

Meh. 6 of their 9 losses are in back-to-backs, and they only have 5 more(from my quick count) over the remaining 59 games. I think last year showed how different a team they are when Hughes is healthy as well, this year too actually(9-3 with Hughes, 5-6 without him).

I'm skeptical Hughes will be healthy enough all season to make a huge impact.

Hey Jon, since you appear to be watching the game, is Kobe just jacking up a bunch of crappy shots (he is 3-10 right now) or is he just missing his open ones?

Just got home. The two shots I've seen him take did seem rather wild. At least one unnecessary fadeaway long-range jumper.
